about us

Welcome to News feed, a new and unique way of finding the best food and drink deals on offer in your area.

Who We Are?

News Feed has been set up by three students as part of a university project which involves creating and developing something within media technology. Our initial creation is this website which we hope you will find useful and efficient. We hope to expand on our idea in the near future with the possibility of creating a News Feed app for a more user friendly experience. “Necessity is the mother of invention”

As students being able to find the deals is a necessity, especially when it comes to food and drink. That is why we decided to create this website.

What We Do?

For the Consumer

Looking for a bite to eat and something to drink, but don’t know where the best place to go is? Then look no further than News Feed. Simply browse the ‘feed’ to look at what offers are on today. Use the map to locate what deals are in your area.  When you use our website to find yourself a deal, don’t forget to leave a review of your meal. This way we know exactly what you the customers prefer, so we can keep you happy by bringing you the best deals in your area.

For the Businesses

Is business slow? Looking for a flurry of customers to come along? Footfall not providing enough customers?

News Feed looks to provide a simple, quick and efficient way for businesses to promote their latest deals. Simply sign up and post what your business has to offer. Remember to update daily with new offers and provide a unique code for each deal. This way deals remain exclusively for users of ‘News Feed’.

Why We Are Different?

Unlike other pub and restaurant finding websites/apps News Feed is updated daily by its members. We invite food and drink businesses to regularly update the ‘Feed’ with their latest offers. As a result offers and deals are only available for a certain amount of time and possibly only available for a certain amount of customers. By using the code from the website offers are more exclusive as they are only available for people using News Feed.
